In a great performance, Kingston College has won the 2019 ISSA Boys Championships (Champs 2019) over second place Calabar by almost the same margin as they lost to Calabar last year while Edwin Allen won the Girls Champs 2019 by 7 points over Hydel.

Not quite the 32-year drought ended by winning the Manning Cup last year, KC was winning Champs for the 32nd time and first time since 2009. KC also broke the Champs points record with 396.5 points in winning.
Girls Champs 2019
On the girls side, it was Edwin Allen Comprehensive High that continued their dominance, this time with a narrow 7 point win over the impressive Hydel school. It was their 6th straight title. Hydel protested one of the Edwin Allen relay wins but it was called as an Edwin Allen win.
Congratulations to Edwin Allen and Kingston College and all the great performances by athletes of all the schools.Great champs or was it marred by too many false start controversies?
