Quite befitting, after 32 year drought, Kingston College (KC) finally lifted the coveted Manning Cup title, beating their long-time North Street rivals, St. Georges College (StGC) 3-2. This was KC’s 15th Manning Cup title.
Dubbed “Clash of the North Street Giants” whenever they meet in football, KC had to come back from 0-1 and 1-2 deficits to eventually score the 2-2 equalizer in the 88th minute and winner in the 90th..
Congrats to the College, the young men, coaching staff, students, and supporters. Big feat.

Thanks @immaculategirl. Unfortunately, the college just lost the Olivier Shield to Clarendon College (CC) 1-0 by an 87th minute strike from CC. Congratulations to CC and Lenny Hyde, who has won it now as coach and player. Congrats to my purples who lifted the Manning Cup but failed on their effort to win the Olivier Shield.

Oh, by the way, I am surprised you didn’t mention this http://www.jamaicaobserver.com/sports/kc-blank-st-george-s-2-0-to-lift-colts-title_151150?profile=1504 and that you will play tomorrow for the Olivier Shields against Clarendon College.
