Jamaica’s Reggae Girlz repeat what Boyz did in 1998

Jamaica’s Reggae Girlz defeated Panama on penalty kicks in the 3rd place CONCACAF World Cup qualifying match to qualify for France 2019 Women’s World Cup.

The feat almost had to happen… You may remember that Jamaica’s Reggae Boyz qualified for their one and only World Cup birth in 1998… That World Cup was held in… you remember… France…

Congratulations to the Girlz.  As for Jamaica’s men’s and women’s national football (soccer) teams, and Jamaicans everywhere, don’t we wish the World Cup would always be held in France?

The Girlz need the support of Jamaicans in Jamaica and abroad, soccer fans across the Caribbean, and well-wishers.

What do you all have to say?
