Jamaica strike double gold in 4x100M in Beijing

Jamaicans sweep 4x100M relays in Beijing

Jamaica’s 4x100M men quartet took advantage of a poor final baton change by the USA men’s relay team to join the women in winning gold for the tiny island nation.

With the women on the sideline cheering Bolt on, he anchored Jamaica to their 6th… yes sixth… gold of the championships, his 3rd.  The Jamaican really accentuated a great day of track and field, a day that saw USA’s Ashton Eaton break the Decathlon record with a score of 9045, China’s 4×100 men winning silver after USA was disqualified, and Mo Farrah winning the 5,000M.
