The 2014 Caribbean Football Union (CFU) Caribbean Cup Finals featured 8-time champions Trinidad and Tobago (T&T) Soca Warriors facing 5-time champions Jamaica Reggae Boyz. A few hours leading up to the kickoff time, T&T was threatening to boycott the finals due to continued salary and arrears dispute with their federation.
However, the game went on, unlike the West Indies vs India recently, but I digress.
After a scoreless full time and extra time, the game went to penalty kicks where Jamaica won 4-3 to gain their 6th CFU Caribbean Cup championship.
Congratulations to the champion Reggae Boyz and to the finalist Soca Warriors for deciding to play the match.
