The West Indies Cricket Board Cup ODI Final ended in a tie between Barbados and Leeward Islands in Kingston, Jamaica.

Batting first, the Leewards was dismissed for 139 from 32 overs & 5 balls, with Tino Best and Ryan Hinds capturing 4 and 3 wickets respectively.

A seemingly easy win for Barbados demonstrated it wouldn’t be when they started losing wickets at regular interval after starting at 46 runs for the loss of 2 wickets….  Barbados was dismissed for 139, with man of the match Lionel Baker and Gavin Tonge taking 5 and 2 wickets respectively.

In the Semi-Finals last week, Barbados had eased past Jamaica while Leewards had a tougher time with their Windward Island neighbors.

Congratulations to both Barbados and the Leeward Islands.
